Before I go on I want to let anyone interested know that this car does have a SALVAGE TITLE. It was from a rear end accident that happened to the previous owner. I have attached pics, not that bad at all. It did not effect the frame or anything that matters. When you see the pic you will see what I am talking about.
I am sure I will update as things come to mins that I forgot to post but please fell free to ask any questions.
Location: Los Angeles, xxxx5
Price: $5,500OBO
Miles:257,094 (engine rebuilt about 43,000 miles ago give or take. It pulls hard.
Color: Brilliantrot
Year:xxxx
So after a lot of thought I have decided to sell my car. This e30 was previously owned by a member on here and was purchased by my brother in xxxx. He then found another e30 and decided to sell this one. I couldn't let it go to just anyone so I decided to buy it, since then a lot of money has been put into it. I will do my best to describe the goods and bads of this car. I can tell you that I have a book with over $17,000 in receipts of work that had been done by the previous owner. This car has never let me or my brother down ever. Mechanically this car is perfect with a rebuilt engine about 43,000 miles ago give or take.
I am really in no rush to sell but I do have my eye on another car and if the right buyer comes waving cash we can make a deal. If you want a car that is ready to drive and will give you no problems I think this is it. Just get some body work and paint and you will have one clean e30. I would rather have paint and body problems than a car with engine and electrical problems.
The details...
This has been my daily driver for quite some time, great gas mileage, about 27mpg.
I have only used mobil 1 15w-50 oil due to the higher phosphorous and zinc content for the m42 engine. (flat tappets)
Wheels and tires are only a couple months old. I love a car with more meat on the tires. This car drives infinitely better than my other one. You can have the best suspension in the world but if you are driving rubber bands than you are in for a rough ride dodging potholes.
-Speakers were all upgraded to mid level alpine and I also put in tweeters which makes the biggest difference. It is also wired for an amp and sub so if you have one lying around it will be plug and play.
-All gauges work and all dials work. EVERYTHING in the cluster works perfectly.
Thing I have done in xxxx
-I just had 3 bolsters and one drivers seat cushion all reupholstered with oem vinyl. Take a look at the interior pics and you will see how clean this interior is. The rear seats are flawless as well with head rests.
-New windshield.
-New dash, not one crack. 303 aerospace protectant applied every two weeks liberally.
-new windshield wiper motor
-Euro Grills
-E36 window switches
-New brake and shift boot. Alcantara with M/// stitching from cletonius.
-Hard wired for a valentine radar detector.
-euro clock
-Fenders rolled by Tony.
-New overhead check panel
-I hooked up the oem fog switch so it can be used with after market lights.
-Husco armrest in perfect condition and actually installed correctly so the soda tray slides to the rear seat.
-Sunroof is in perfect working order.
-upgraded lights and Hids to morimoto. They are friggin bright and a clean white and are aimed perfectly.
-New brake switch
-tint is 3M 35% on the sides, 20% on rear window and I had the windshield tinted with ceramic 70% tint. It helps a lot with the sun and heat and is barely noticeable.
-a lot of other things I am sure. Just feel free to ask any questions.
The Bads:
-salvage title
-paint. Good from far but far from good.
-Body dings/chips and the dent in the rear.
-Carpet could use a cleaning.
If I were to invest more money the only thing would need to be paint, some body work and that dent and you have a cherry e30 that will last a long time.
